Welcome to the West Fife Freecycle Town Group!

Dunfermline is a historic city located in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. It is the largest town in West Fife and serves as a center for the surrounding area. The city has a population of around 50,000 people and is known for its rich heritage and cultural significance. The Dunfermline Abbey, founded in the 11th century by Queen Margaret, and the Palace of Dunfermline, a royal residence in the Middle Ages, are both major tourist attractions in the city. Dunfermline also has a significant industrial past, particularly in textile production. In addition to the historical sites, Dunfermline offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options for visitors. West Fife, the surrounding area, is known for its beautiful countryside and coastal towns, such as Culross, and also has a rich history, including coal mining and agriculture.

The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,354 Town Groups with 11,466,223 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and thus keeping good stuff out of landfills.

Membership is free, and everything posted must be FREE, legal and appropriate for all ages. To view the items being given away or sought in West Fife, you must be a member of the local Town Group.

Please note, if you are asking for items to be donated to any charity or good cause, please provide a link in the post for the organisation. This will help us verify the legitimacy of your request. We appreciate your cooperation and support for our community.
