I am the moderator for Woodbury (MN, USA) Freecycle group. I was informed of a Phishing attack in reply to postings on this and other Freecycle groups in Twin Cities area.
The reply, for example, may look something like below --

Please NEVER click on any links from any sender you do not know personally. Also, FreeCycle moderators and staff will NEVER ask you to click on any links or suspend your account in reply to your post.
