Unfortunately we have had to reject your post relating to "borrowing" because Freecycle is about gifting 'without strings'. Hampstead Freecycle cannot be held responsible for items being broken, damaged, causing an injury or just plain not being returned! These are very difficult situations to resolve and because freecycle's main aim is to keep things out of landfill and is run on a purely voluntary basis, we are unable to assist in resolving of these types of issues! So to 'protect' both the offerer and giver we do NOT allow borrowing. I hope that this clarifies why your message was rejected. You are welcome to resubmit it as a normal WANTED post.
