Should "curb alert" postings be allowed? Pls contact the moderators with your opinion
"curb alert" postings are where someone offering an item says it's on the curb, first one come gets it. It would be nice if, after the item is taken, the person offering would update the posting to say "taken", but that often doesn't happen.
According to the Freecycle guidelines (https://www.freecycle.org/pages/guidelines), "curb pickup" posts are discouraged, but allowed by specific groups ("towns") if they want to.
