Modern Bed from Morphee in Montreal.

I purchased this in 2008 for equiv. $1200 USD (I have receipts). This is a modern style quality bed with dark brown color from a local custom furniture store in Montreal called "Morphee" (https://maps.app.goo.gl/AnT72WVBrNWQ3tuNA, https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2012/09/21/la-metamorphose-de-morphee). Under the bed is a panel of wood slats that looks a bit like this https://www.amazon.com/Yimisya-Ergonomic-Replacement-Slightly-760x53x10MM/. In its original form the slats panel would sit on wooden supports built on the inside but they broke over time, I removed them, and have been placing the slats on the floor. It looks a little lower, but it feels nicer and very stable like that actually. We use a 16" mattress to give it that height, you just need a high mattress, in its original form the mattress sticks out by a few inces above the front panel (looks nice either way if you ask me).

We're planning on taking the mattress with us, so it's just the bed that's gotta go. Bed's just wood, and it's clean.

The bed is very easy to move because it comes apart in four parts (the front, the back panels, and the two sides). There's no unscrewing or building necessary, as it's using smart brackets - you just push the sides down into them and that's sufficient to hold it together. This bed can be unbuilt and rebuilt in less than 3 minutes with no tools whatsoever.

Reason for donation? My wife doesn't like it. That's it. Me, I love my bed. I moved it with me from Canada and would have loved to keep it - it's in great condition - but she's been complaining about the style not matching the rest of our furniture for years, and now we're moving, and I go by the happy-wife-happy-life philosophy, so I guess it's time. I see no point in trying to get money for something that was purchased that long ago. The bed is in great condition, just a few minor nicks in places that aren't visible.

It's free of course, but you do have to come pick it up in Jersey City close to Hamilton Park before 6/20.
