Aspire E1-771-6458. 17-inch display, optical drive, 500-GB disk, 6 GB RAM. A review is at https://www.computercritique.com/acer-aspire-nx-mg7aa-006-e1-771-6458-17-3-inch-laptop-review/ Computer came with Windows 7, which is now obsolete. I wiped the disk and installed Xubuntu Linux, and standard software including LibreOffice (compatible with Microsoft Office). It doesn't work exactly the same as what you’re probably used to, but it’s close and the learning curve isn’t difficult. Xubuntu won’t go out of date anytime soon. The system and software, including LibreOffice, are updated frequently for $free. Comes with a wireless mouse. Battery is completely shot - must stay plugged in during use. Replacement batteries are available on eBay for $20 or less. Easy to do. All the keys work, but some are harder to press than they should be, including the spacebar. Might not be too hard to get used to. Otherwise, keyboards are available for about $12. Replacement is fairly easy on most laptops - haven’t checked about this one.
