I have a partial tube of diabetes test strips that were left behind at my home by a family member on a visit several years ago.  They are expired, however they have been in no way tampered with and kept in relatively decent climate controlled conditions the whole time. I would think that doing a couple dual-strip tests  for comparison will quickly determine their integrity.  I know they're expensive so it seems to me a small effort for a potentially decent payoff.  Come and get em!  (If someone is totally down and out/sans transportation i could probably work put something to help getcha there....  no promises but just talk to me and we will see.)
