This is a futon frame. It can be used as a couch or a bed. You can put  mattress and box spring on it as a bed. I have done this. I've also used it as a couch. You can have the futon mattress with it if you want. It is black. I have a sheet covering it.

The first picture is where I used it as a bed. The second picture is just the frame. The third is where I have it as a couch with a futon mattress and sheet that can be put down as a bed. Thanks
