I know this is a big ask, but if anyone out there has a decent telescope that's sitting about gathering dust, my son would love to put it to good use. We bought a budget telescope a few years back, but it's not been powerful enough to quench his space thirst since he moved on from the moon to planets. I've been advised a Dobsonian or Newtonian telescope with a large aperture would be ideal, but I'm sure he'd be over the moon for any kind of telescope that can see Jupiter and the rings of Saturn.
