I volunteer with Many Paws Global Rescue, a dog rescue based in Palatine, and we have recently taken on quite a bit of additional responsibility.

We welcomed 9 dogs from the Lemont hoarding situation, along with 11 Belgian Malinois puppies and their mom who were rescued from a kill shelter.

That’s a lot of mouths to feed and a lot of little messes to clean up! While we are incredibly grateful to be able to give these dogs a second chance at life, our supply needs are growing quickly.

We are currently in need of:

Adult dog food

Pee pads

Dewormer

Puppy food (dry and wet)

Edible powder canisters

Goat’s milk powder

Nutri-Cal

Disinfectant

High gates

Pet wipes

Dogzymes

Calcium gel

Whelping bowls

If anyone has extra food or pee pads or anything they’d be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. Every bag, box, and donation makes a difference in helping us care for these dogs while they wait for their forever homes.

Even if you can’t donate, sharing this post would mean so much!

Thank you for supporting local animal rescue and helping us give these dogs the love, care, and second chance they dese

rve! I love in Des Plaines
