We have six (6) outdoor patio chairs that are a few years old and their webbing is becoming brittle and needs to be replaced. The frames are still sturdy and good. If someone is up for this project you can have these chairs. I did take the webbing off of ONE of the chairs (see pic 2). That was fairly easy and didn't take too long but there are small staples (see pic 3) that are holding the ends of each piece of webbing to the frame of the chair. You could put a new webbing/cover over the staples OR put a thick tape over the stapes before recovering the chairs OR pull each staple out OR sand the staples down before recovering the chairs.
Again, the frames are in solid condition. I don't know the exact material of the frames, some sort of metal. There are four hard plastic pads on the bottom of each chair.
