Good for anyone digitizing paperwork, receipts, letters, or old photos with their phone. It’s a cardboard scanning stand: you set your phone on the top platform, place a document in the base, and the built-in LED strip lights it evenly so you get clean, shadow-free scans with any scanning app.

More info on Scanner Bin here: https://scannerbin.com/. This is the Adjustable Scanner Bin, a model that’s no longer sold. Here’s what’s included:

     >     Base unit

     >     Smartphone platform (adjustable to default or raised height)

     >     LED panel with USB-powered LED strip

     >     Set-up instructions printed on the box

Missing: the flat sheet that normally comes with it, used to press pages flat. A piece of clear acrylic or glass works fine as a substitute.
