I don't know if any children today still watch the movie "Sharkboy and Lavagirl," but many years ago my daughter went trick-or-treating as Lavagirl in this homemade costume. It is made from a size 5/6 (Child Small) Hanes red sweatshirt and sweatpants. It has gold accents and styrofoam "lava rocks" glued on the shirt and pants. Has matching gold belt that gets safety-pinned on to compete the look. It's in great shape, no damage or stains, and is a nice warm costume that's roomy enough for some layers underneath if it's a cold Halloween night. I'd love for someone's little girl (or boy!) to have this costume passed down to.
