I get groceries delivered and they use these ice packs (Creative Ice) that to recycle they say to let them melt, then snip a corner and drain the fluid into the trash, after which the bag is recyclable. Fine, but I get 2+ of these a week. I kept the first 2, but it's ridiculous to keep dumping this gunk out that has to go in the trush because it will clog the drains ("non-toxic," but also not great for pipes or people), and then recycling the bags, when they could be used by others for their purpose as ice packs, as they're very sturdy. Would there be anywhere to donate these? I could bring them on a relatively bulk basis (they're not light, see pic).
