Hi neighbors! I am a local student running a youth-led tech refurbishing project right here in Manalapan.
Our mission is simple: we take slow, old, or broken electronics that are destined for the landfill, securely wipe the data, repair them, and donate them to local low-income families who need computers for school or work.
We are preparing to process our very first batch of community tech this weekend, but as a brand-new startup, we are completely out of basic supplies. If you are doing some fall cleaning and have any of the following items taking up space in a closet or drawer, I would love to come do a free, contactless pickup from your porch before Friday:
Old Tech: Laptops, tablets, or old desktop towers (even if they are slow, won't turn on, or have cracked screens).
Tools: Precision screwdriver sets, small electronics toolkits, or thermal paste.
Cables: Loose power bricks, laptop chargers, HDMI cords, or extension cables.
We are fully registered and fiscally sponsored under Hack Club Bank, a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, so we can provide an official tax-deductible receipt for any hardware you clear out!
Comment below or send me a direct message if you have a box of old cords or devices sitting around that you'd like to donate, and I'll map out a pickup route. Thank you so much for helping us keep e-waste out of landfills and support local students!
