My husband sometimes uses a U-Step walker, but after a while squeezing the handles starts hurting his hands. I spoke with the company about a Neuro Walker they have, where you can either squeeze the handle from the top instead of the bottom (it's flipped), or you can flip the backrest bar over the squeeze handle and press down on that. They said they had a conversion kit that would work with his existing walker, so I ordered one. It turns out his walker is too old (a model from somewhere around 2016-2019). We aren't able to use the kit, and it costs too much to send it back. Free to a good home. Assembly seems easy. There's an instructional video at https://ustep.desk365.io/support/sp-article?articleId=MzE0MTc%3D. A picture of the UStep Neuro product is at https://www.ustep.com/press-down-u-step-2/. This conversion kit should make a regular UStep work similarly to that.
