The LiftMaster universal radio control plugs into a wall socket and can be used to remotely open your garage door.  This will work on old units that don't have a remote.  Everything is included, even the wire to the opener.  There's a button on the unit that will also open the door.  I used one like it on my garage door and bought this for my son - but he replaced his opener and had no need for it.
