Hi everyone! ? I’m getting ready to start fresh in my apartment here in Bethany, and I’m looking for a few things to help make it feel like home.

I’m starting with very little, but I’m also intentionally trying to keep things simple and minimal. I don’t want to fill the apartment with a bunch of stuff I don’t need, so I’m mainly looking for practical items I know I’ll actually use.

Furniture/Home:

Full-size bed

Bunk/loft bed with a bed on top and desk area underneath

Regular desk or L-shaped desk

Couch

Small TV

Small table for the living room

Soft area rugs

Dressers

Bookshelves

Lamps

Small outdoor table

Outdoor chairs

Kitchen:

2 pots

1 large frying pan

Strainer/colander

2 baking pans

Storage & Decorating:

Empty storage totes

Blank canvases for painting

Fairy/string lights

Photo frames — 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10

I know that looks like a lot written out ?, but I’m definitely not expecting everything and I don’t need a ton of each item. I’m just putting together a list of things I could use as I slowly set up the apartment.

If anyone has something they’re getting rid of, knows somewhere local I should check, or just has ideas for furnishing a new apartment inexpensively, I’d really appreciate it. ❤️
