Hi neighbors! My name is Miles Yui, and I’m a junior at La Costa Canyon High School. I recently founded a nonprofit called Opportunity Athletics (OA) to help make sports accessible for every kid — no matter their background.
We collect gently used sports equipment — baseball gloves, bats, soccer balls, cleats, helmets, rackets, pads, surfboards, and more — then clean, sort, and donate it to underserved youth, schools, and community programs across San Diego County.
The goal is simple: ⚽ Give every kid a chance to play. ♻️ Keep good gear out of landfills. ? Inspire students to give back.
If your kids have outgrown their gear or your garage needs some space, we’d love to give your old equipment a new home. We can pick up locally or arrange a convenient drop-off.
Every donation — big or small — helps another kid get in the game. Thank you for supporting youth sports and sustainability!
❤️ — Miles Yui, Junior at La Costa Canyon High School Founder, Opportunity Athletics (Encinitas, CA)
