Hello, Boulder Librarians,
Do you have a "depressible" book return drop-box that your school or church is no longer using? I'm a volunteer trying to repair one such device for a Denver-area public school, and I need the mechanical "guts" that allow the moveable shelf inside the box to rise and fall as books are placed in the box by the kids and the librarian takes them out for re-shelving. Sometimes it's a simple spring that lifts the interior platform, sometimes it's a more sophisticated "scissors jack" mechanism that's powered by a sping. Does your school or church have one that has fallen out of use? I'll be happy to pick up the whole cart or just the parts anywhere in your area. Thanks! Rich
