Ward 1 Mattress Collection

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new monthly Mattress Collection Event, starting October 25th and held every last Saturday of the month! 9-11am. 940 E. Alameda, Ward 1 Office. 

In partnership with the City of Tucson’s Department of Environmental Services, the Ward 1 Council Office will host this recurring collection event to provide residents with a convenient and responsible way to dispose of old mattresses.

Our goal is to make it easier for our community to keep our neighborhoods clean, reduce illegal dumping, and promote sustainable waste management. Proper mattress disposal helps prevent waste from ending up in alleys, washes, or landfill space unnecessarily, and this program gives everyone a free and accessible solution. We’re excited to work together to make Ward 1 cleaner, greener, and more connected!
