Last year someone on Freecycle gave me a DVD player, but without the remote.  I thought it might be okay, but it's not.  The problem is not my laziness, but I'm trying to learn Spanish by either listening to DVDs in Spanish or reading a Spanish subtitle track.  Unfortunately I don't think I'm able to access the language features of the DVDs without a remote.  (I've pressed every button on the unit itself, and I can't seem to get where I want to go.)

So, if you have a universal DVD remote or a DVD player with a remote,  I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Also, if you have any ideas on how to access the language features of the DVDs through the unit itself, I'd be more than willing to listen.
